Birding Adventures
Uganda Shoebill organizes guided birding adventures rooted in the rich wetlands of Mabamba, one of Africa’s most important birding sites and home to the iconic Shoebill. Beyond Mabamba, we also curate birding tours to other key destinations across Uganda, offering visitors diverse habitats, endemic species, and unforgettable encounters led by experienced local guides.
Gear Rental
To enhance your birding experience, we offer on-ground rental of essential birding gear, including binoculars, bird books, life jackets, and other select equipment. Advance notice and booking are required to ensure availability, allowing us to prepare quality gear tailored to your trip needs.
Transfers to Mabamba
For guests who prefer not to drive, Uganda Shoebill can arrange direct boat transfers from Entebbe Nakiwogo Landing Site to Mabamba Wetland. This service is available for solo travelers, couples, and groups, and can be arranged for any type of birding trip upon request.
